Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple mission critical systems by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
Ensure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained.
Develop new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
Perform troubleshooting as required and lead problem-solving efforts with outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
Establish, maintain and manage users accounts.
Install, modify and maintain systems and utility software on server computer systems.
Develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for the company to take advantage of new technology.
