Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Data Systems Analyst is to use data management and business intelligence tools to determine market and business insights to increase profits and efficiency. The Data Systems Analyst will support the design, development and distribution of data analysis, reporting, modeling, and insights. As a member of the Business Strategy and Analytics department, the position will take part in diving into a vast pool of data and translating data to insights and action.

Essential Duties&Responsibilities:

* Manage the flow of information throughout the business, including data quality and defining integrative views of data, ensuring all applications are in sync and adhere to established standards

* Develop analytics for the business, including: predictive modeling, forecasting, reporting, customer research, segmentation and other types of quantitative and qualitative strategic business analysis

* Use business intelligence software to translate complex analytics into clear, concise and actionable communications

* Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to analyze performance and provide explanation

* Research applicable technologies, tools and methodologies as they emerge

* Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

* Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, or a similar field

* Advanced analytic skills and ability to translate data to business contexts

* Expertise with Excel, SQL, relational databases, statistical software (preferably R), business intelligence (preferably Tableau)

* Experience with MS Dynamics CRM, ticketing database system (preferably Archtics), data warehousing

* Demonstrated experience in Analytics, Technology, or a similar field

* Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the business, in the business community and with vendors

* Capability to track details and meet deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates

* Ability to perform with minimal direction

* Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities
