Company in Orlando is currently seeking an IT Field Tech for a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity. The chosen candidate will be responsible for greeting and welcoming customers, assisting the customers with product location, recommending products based on customer requirements and needs, performing warranty and non-warranty PC/laptop and printer repairs, work with local tech-zone and travel by car to customer business sites for installs within an average of 10-15 miles. Job Requirements Required skills: Comp A+ Certified Strong customer communication skills IT sales experience PC/Laptop/Printer hardware repair Virus removal Back-up and data transfer skills. Android phone repair OEM warranty certifications: Lenovo, Dell, HP (preferred) Responsibilities: Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
