This position reports to the Corporate IT group within IT Business Operations. This role is the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all products and services provided by IT Vendors to the global Stericycle business and will be responsible to foster, improve and sustain long-term partnerships with IT suppliers in an effort to reduce risk to the business. The incumbent will implement an IT Vendor Management Process and support the VP, IT Business Operations in introducing a comprehensive strategy around IT Contracts, Licenses and Asset inventories. Key Job Activities: 1) Develop, establish, implement, and enforce supplier and outsourcer guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements to the global Stericycle organization. Develop and implement a complete IT Vendor Management strategy, including a mechanism for continuous improvement Lead the design, implementation and management of processes to ensure that IT and the business clients obtain optimal performance and value from IT technology products and service vendor partners. Work with key stakeholders (IT leadership, Executive, Legal Services and Procurement), for the negotiation of new (and existing) services and product requests, service level management, and administration of service performance credits, ensuring IT is in compliance with company policy and procedures. Collaborate with key stakeholders in management of agreements that reflect the interests of IT , business partners and Stericycle, including service level agreements, contract renewals and adherence to corportate Vendor management policies. Lead the overall planning, execution and reporting of vendor contract compliance audits and control assessments in accordance with professional standards and risk-based approach. Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with third party suppliers to investigate queries and resolve issues in a timely manner Conducts regular meetings with business and IT to review a) technology related purchasing needs, b) that defined service levels are being met and meet the business needs and c) coordinates delivery of technology purchases with PMO and/or the business to ensure successful delivery Responsible for development and implementation of vendor governance framework including Quarterly Executive Reviews, Monthly operational meetings, vendor scorecards and a mechanism to monitor day to day performance. 10) Works closely with the IT Planning and Financials group to track technology spend against budget, and provides necessary information ROI/business case analyses on the organization's technology spend.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management preferred or the equivalent in relevant work experience. Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT Procurement and contract experience in IT a?? Solid working knowledge of software licensing, procurement and outsourcing. a?? Strong familiarity and technical competence with asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems a?? Strong knowledge of contract regulations and laws. a?? General knowledge of accounting, finance, marketing, and logistics. a?? Demonstrated ability to obtain and analyze necessary information and create meaningful deliverables a?? Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills are a must a?? Thorough understanding of technology, business processes and data management a?? Experience working with and supporting large IT projects preferred a?? Detail oriented creative and collaborative team player a?? Project Management skills are a must a??
