Individuals fulfilling this role must be skilled in one or more technologies, capable of managing hosted infrastructure projects, and possess conceptual knowledge of managed hosting technologies overall. The role is also responsible for assessing the efficiency of operational processes and remediating, documenting, and implementing as needed in order to provide 100% customer satisfaction. This individual must have strong leadership skills and be able to influence and work effectively with cross functional teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities. *Selects, develops and evaluates staff to ensure efficient operation of the function. *Responsible for directing and executing day-to-day operations. *Oversees delivery of services or functions of the group in accordance with organizational objectives. *Recommends and implements operational improvements. *Participates in annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performancePosition Objectives:Acquire understanding and create documentation for complex technical environmentsMaintain and improve customer satisfaction ratingsDrive improvements in all facets of ITIL process with a focus on the client experienceEnsure best practices for support and problem management are adopted and practicedIdentify opportunities for process improvement to address operational inefficiencies through the use of metrics and reportingAct as the client and Ensono support advocateLead operational staff to meet defined SLAs and SLOsSet priorities and drive engineering teams to deliver projects within defined timelines Required Skills:Previous leadership experience in some capacity in the IT industryPrevious hands on expert level experience with one or more of the following web technologies and strong conceptual understanding of the remaining technologies:Websphere, WebLogic, Jboss, Tomcat, PHP, IHS, IIS, Apache, .Net, etcNetworking, switching, load balancers, security, firewallsDatabase Administration (Oracle, MS SQL, etc)OS Administration (Linux/Windows, etc)Virtualization (VMware, Hypervisor etc)MainframeAbility to effectively command control during crisis situationsStrong trouble shooting and investigative skillsOutstanding communication and collaboration skillsStrong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to provide customer interactionExperience with managing resources of various technical backgrounds5+ Years of experience in a customer facing roleDesired SkillsPrevious leadership experience in some capacityUnderstanding of PMP principles and practicesITIL Foundations certifiedEducation or Equivalent ExperienceFour Year college degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of experience or 10 years experience in the technology arenaEnsono is an equal opportunity employer.
