Job Description

The global marketing manager is a creative ideagenerating leadership role, responsible for handling the promotion of infusiontherapy informatics products and services in a way that will improve ICUMedical company sales and profitability. The Manager will be instrumental in developingICU Medical's global strategies that will support all infusion therapy pumpdevice's safety software and connectivity. This person will attain a deepunderstanding of the customer needs and will work closely with upstreammarketing, external partners and supporting functions to drive the solutions ofthose needs through the product development process to post product launch.They will be responsible for monitoring industry trends, understandingcompetitive insight and creating business cases for new product and developmentopportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical capital equipmentand product marketing expertise with the ability to lead in a matrixed,distributed team environment to drive meaningful business results incollaboration with a cross-functional team.

Essential Duties&Responsibilities

* A strongunderstanding of sales and marketing

* Developsand implements strategic marketing plans

* Staysabreast of the commercial and competitive industry landscape

* Maintainsan understanding of the marketplace to keep ICU Medical products positioned inthe most impactful way that will drive sales and maintain profitability margins

* Understands market trends wellenough to forecast shifts that will impact profitability

* A widedegree of creativity is expected

* Preparesand delivers effective marketing communication material such as advertising/promotionaltools, press copy/releases,&driving effective trade show&conferences strategies

* Through amatrixed environment will work closely with AAMI, KLAS&ECRI in support ofmaintaining product visibility

* Works withmanagement to package and price informatics solution offerings

* Creativein ability to generate cutting edge IT based sales training material thatfocuses on developing unique customer value propositions

* Responsiblefor working with field sales and operations in creating and managing KOL's andreference sites

* Will workclosely with product owners and business leaders to maintain knowledge-basedcontent to support direct sales messaging

* Reportsresults to the business, analyzes results against established marketing budgets

* High levelof commitment to exceptional work quality

* Will workon special projects as they arise

Qualifications Required:

* Excellentwritten communication skills. Theability to send, interpret and receive technical and clinical information

* Experiencewith Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio

* Experiencein managing Web sites and information

* Directexperience in market launching new informatics software solutions

* Experiencein working with, managing, and resolving customer problems and issues

* Must be aleader and able to marshal resources in a complex matrix environment

* Able to workindependently

* Abilityto manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

* Ability tomessage and market influentially globally

* Masters Degree or equivalent preferred

* 7-10 years of B2B healthcare IT marketing and sales experience
