Job Description Bose Corporation is seeking a strong Program Manager for their platform development team within our Consumer Electronics division. In this role, you will provide leadership to internal cross-functional engineering teams that collaborate to develop new wireless speaker systems (hardware and software). In this role, you will be responsible helping independent hardware and software product development teams to synchronize their activities to ensure timely delivery of a portfolio of products. Responsibilities: A? Identify, develop, and implement tools to ensure collaboration between independent teams to achieve a common objective. A? Manage integration points for software and hardware to meet product development and validation requirements. A? Facilitate platform decisions across multiple products and development teams. A? Plan and direct master program schedules consisting of interlinked project schedules, monitor budgets/spend, and coordinate with internal partners (including Marketing and Manufacturing). A? Travel to design and/or manufacturing facilities as necessary to support development partners. A? Communicate project status regularly to stakeholders Must have the following skills, abilities and knowledge: A? Strong program management background in consumer electronics product development or in the development of new technologies. A? Experience leading programs consisting of multiple concurrent development projects A? Understand how to use PERT and CPM tools to manage complex programs A? Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in a product development environment (5-10 years exp). Experience across the entire product lifecycle is preferred but not required. A? Strong background in consumer electronics engineering and design, including software and hardware integration A? Proven ability to lead a highly technical team of multi-disciplinary engineers A? Able to drive to tangible results in a timely manner even when the work involves a high-level of ambiguity A? A working understanding of software development processes A? Experience working with external technology, design, and manufacturing partners A? Strong systems-level critical thinking skills A? Strong collaboration and influencing skills A? Ability to interact well with all levels within the organization A? High-level of emotional intelligence A? Resilience and flexibility Qualifications: A? 10-15 years of relevant experience within engineering A? Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or quantitative field A?
