Senior Project Manager/ScrumMaster

seeking Senior Project Manager/ScrumMaster, who will be responsible for

effective collaboration, facilitation, and leadership of agile teams while managing

projects with team level integration points.

This Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master position is located in Boise,




  • Facilitates the sizing of stories during the planning sprint, backlog

    grooming, or sprint planning sessions for multiple teams across the department.

    • Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with business

      owners, product owners, project sponsors, vendors and key clients.

      • Facilitates Agile ceremonies for 2 teams.
      • Uses historical velocity and planned velocity to assist team with


        • Works with the program sponsor and product owner to determine staffing


          • Assists with identifying which resources need to be procured outside the


            • Involves team and departmental resources in identifying and removing

              impediments and known risks through analysis and prioritization.

              • Describes technical or other issues that need to be considered and

                assist in the development of Statement of Work (SOW).

                • Utilizes standardized tools and techniques for estimating costs

                  associated with a project including physical, financial and human capital


                  • Effectively utilizes progress indicators such as burn-down and burn-up


                    • Ensures scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk, status, change requests

                      and critical issues are effectively communicated to the client and

                      project/program team.

                      • Looks for opportunities to teach and mentor the team and other Scrum

                        Masters and Project Managers.

                        • Conducts formal review with business sponsor at project completion to

                          confirm acceptance and satisfaction.

                          • Tracks and measures client satisfaction levels and make and implement


                            • Generates appropriate communication, process and educational plans for

                              mitigating the disruption of change while facilitating identification and

                              removal of obstacles to change.



                              Compensation for this position includes base salary plus bonus,

                              Bachelor---s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or

                              Engineering; or equivalent work experience


                              Minimum of 3-7 years of Scrum Master experience


                              Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

                              required; Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Project Management Institute ---

                              Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification preferred


                              3 or more years of information technology experience


                              3 or more years managing projects


                              Experience working with both agile and waterfall methodologies on large

                              scale, technically complex projects.


                              Ability to deal with multiple projects.


                              Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).


                              Experience with relevant business software (e.g. Microsoft Office

                              applications, Team Foundation Server).


                              Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server Agile, Jira or similar



                              Experience using Clarity/Open Workbench to communicate on multiple

                              projects, programs and impacts.
