We're looking to find a full-time, cross-functional Cloud Engineer for our Product Engineering team to work on our cloud product offerings. You'll be working in a fast-paced, agile environment within a tight-knit team of engineers with cross-functional skill-sets and a true passion for technology. You'll be tasked with helping to drive development and certification of new, innovative, and high profile cloud products and services. Responsibilities * Take part in the full product development lifecycle from planning to maintenance. * Work with our virtualization experts to design, prototype, develop, and certify cloud product offerings. * Collaborate in a cross-functional environment with network engineers, system engineers, software engineers, and virtualization engineers. * Identify and automate repeatable processes. * Participate in the storyboarding and analysis of user workflows. Essential Skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated expertise in virtualization (active certifications are a plus). * Solid experience with public clouds such as Azure or AWS. * Proficiency with VMware vCenter and vSphere ESXi. * Proficiency with storage and networking, especially in the context of virtualization and the software-defined data center. * Proficiency with multiple operating system families: Linux, Unix, Windows. * Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI, etc.). * Experience with managed IT services, especially cloud-based managed services. * Experience working in an agile/scrum environment. * Passion for collaborative development, integration and testing. * Strong interpersonal skills and ease of engaging with teams. * Integrity, work ethic, and sensibility to do the right thing. * Track record of creative contributions to complex development efforts. Desired Skills * Troubleshooting skills in a complex technology stack. * Experience with automated deployments in a virtualized environment. * Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and system level). * Experience with compliance standards for IT (SOC, HIPAA, SIAS, etc.). * Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) work environments.
