Information Security Operations Manager Tracking Code 178323-846 Job Description Tenneco is looking for an Information Security Operations Manager to join its growing Information Security team. This role will report to the Director of Information Security and will provide thought leadership as an Information Security SME. As a member of the Security team you will be helping us protect our business across 150 global sites. Responsibilities: + Develop partnerships with other business and IT functions involved in security and privacy matters + Develop relationships with security vendors and external security experts + Develop and implement recommendations to enhance performance and improve security and protection measures + Troubleshoot complex issues with existing security and privacy protection protocols + Root cause analysis, make and implement recommendations on improvements + Coordinate, manage, and deliver service metrics reporting to organization + Manage analysis and report of operational security and performance metrics, driving program improvements + Understanding business priorities and focused efforts towards aligning services to business requirements + Lead the operations of Tenneco IT security infrastructure, services, and programs + The position will be responsible for the Managed Security Services programs + Provide in-depth technical direction and support to managed security service providers; proactively identify, track, and mitigate risk to IT systems and operations + Manage response to global security incidents including coordination and leadership during security incident and malware outbreaks + Proactively identify and analyze complex internal and external threats, including viruses, targeted attacks and unauthorized access + Recommend and implement threat countermeasures, controls, and associated services strategies + Recommend and implement improvements to security services + Provide Information Security expertise and guidance to internal and external IT project team and IT + Develop and maintain security-related monitoring and logging requirements and procedures across infrastructure, applications and databases globally for the company. + Coordinate with environment owners for investigation and remediation of monitoring alerts + Monitor and document indicators of compromise (IOCs) related to advanced, targeted attackers + Meet regularly with subject matter experts both internal and external to the Security team to discuss relevant threats and their effect on the analysis of vulnerability criticality and prioritization + Analyzing threat intelligence information to identify patterns and root causes to provide decision support for the organization + Develop and deliver a performance measurements and reporting program for security monitoring + Responsible for the implementation and support of all technical, process, and reporting elements of the security monitoring and analytics program, including direction to and coordination with external managed security services providers Required Skills: + Ability to effectively prioritize multiple objectives and manage through a fast-paced, changing environment + Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems process and technologies + Highly collaborative with the ability to influence and drive behavior across the organization with other teams, such as system operations, infrastructure, auditors, security personnel etc. + Analytical problem solving capabilities, strong decision making skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with individuals across all levels the organization + Knowledge and experience working across a geographically and culturally diverse organization + Proficient in use of office productivity software + Ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively + Ability to design, evaluate and document processes, and lead teams in accomplishing process review and improvement Required Experience Required Qualifications: + Minimum 5 years working level experience securing IT systems + Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security and Risk Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major or commensurate experience + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent required + Experience managing a team of security professionals + Experience in a large-scale global IT enterprise environment + Experience with administration and management of Windows, Linux, UNIX, and mobile operating systems Preferred Qualifications: + Minimum 3-5 years experience in a security monitoring or related role with experience in delivering operational process improvements + Understanding of enterprise risk management principles and their application is preferred We are an equal opportunity employer.
