Job Description

Reporting into the Director of eCommerce Site Operations and Analytics, this role will be accountable for directing all retailer data operations which includes both inbound product catalog feeds, order status feeds, overall transaction log feeds, offers & promotional feeds and outbound feeds to internal financial and CRM systems. In other words, this person will be the king or queen of data feed management (DFM). The specific types of functional areas that this role will be directly responsible for will include:

Data feed setups, on-boardings, transports, ingestions, content mappings, processing & normalizations
QA and exception management around all processes data feed content
Retailer communication management around feed setup, issues & ongoing optimizations
The position will identify and implement optimization efforts to drive performance on an on-going basis, developing those methods to analyze various data sources to continually measure and improve retailer content feeds against key performance indicator goals.

The successful candidate s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Manage day-to-day operational management or all inbound and outbound data feeds and API content injections
Manage the overall eCommerce marketplace platform (Mirakl) and the overall partner relationship with this key partner
Deliver KPI metrics and reporting to manage the overall data feed operations of incoming feeds, processed feeds, outbound feeds and the status of each active processing step that has occurred for all feeds.
Support on-going platform upgrades and maintenance efforts. Work with the IT team and third-party providers in collaboration with the technical group
Work with the retailer sales teams to help do pre-sales technical reviews, requirements gathering and solution engineering with potential retailers
Drive all ongoing retailer data feed management support & resolution processes directly with contacts within retailers that are supplying data feeds.
Operate the customer (shopper facing) and retailer (internal facing) support system that all support services will happen within


BA/BS in Business, Marketing or Operations. eCommerce degree a plus
5 years of experience in managing and overseeing enterprise level eCommerce data operations, preferably within the retail industry
Experience in software development methodology, high volume enterprise eCommerce and order management systems. Knowledge of product taxonomies, merchandising, inventory, price and promotions a plus
Experience supporting affiliate marketing or Google shopping feeds, POS transaction feeds, product feeds, or eCommerce marketplaces
Experience and passion to work in a fast-paced blended waterfall/agile environment delivering functional features in small time durations
Experience and knowledge of cloud enabled services/applications
Experience in commerce support services (help desk, customer support)


Experience with delivery & execution in an agile and lean development environment
Ability to balance short term and tactical decisions with long term strategic thinking
Demonstrable leadership abilities in changing, ambiguous and challenging situations
Experience working with data feed processors such as Channel Advisor, Mercado, Lengow or Channel Intelligence
Familiarity with common feed formats such as XML, TXT or CSV & API/Web Service
Hands on experience with either the Hybris or Mirakl platforms a plus
Substantial background/experience of Google AdWords, Analytics & Merchant
Experience with outbound product feeds to Google Shopping, Facebook Product Ads or Amazon s Product Ads a plus
Experience and/or familiarity with product feed tools such as GoDataFeed,, DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics, Salsify a plus
History/background working with, creating, managing and optimizing product data feeds for comparison search engines like Google Shopping and Bing Shopping or marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Wal-Mart, Wish, etc. a plus
