Job Description

The Air Armament Equipment (AAE) Senior Program Manager (PM) will have full management and profit & loss (P&L) responsibility for the BRU-77 program and for leading a team of PMs supporting all Airborne Armament Equipment (AAE) programs. The AAE Senior PM will be a key member of the AS leadership team and will contribute in the development and execution of IIS' airborne solutions sustainment and modernization growth strategy. This position reports directly to the Airborne Solutions (AS) Program Area Director within the Platform Systems (PS) sub-mission area of Mission Support & Modernization (MSM) mission area of IIS. This position will be based in Indianapolis, IN. The AAE Senior PM will be responsible and accountable for the following: Flawless execution on all AAE programs, which includes a variety of different scopes of work, including: SW development, production, information assurance, sustainment, and spares & repairs maintenance, Managing a staff of Program Managers; including providing supervisory duties, training, and performance reviews Coordinating with all functional support organizations Developing a strong customer relationship with RTN's Prime Industry Customers and with the Government Customers Overseeing the development of proposal efforts associated with all AAE programs Developing execution plans to support the AAE related bookings and overall AAE growth strategy Meeting AAE allocated bookings, sales, profit, margin, and cash goals Required Skills: 12 years program management or related experience leading multi-disciplined teams Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified with an emphasis on variance analysis Experience and knowledge of risk management and the application of risk management tools in program management in the areas of technical, cost, and schedule Certified or ability to obtain RTN Program Manager Level 4 certification or higher within 6 months Experience using metrics to drive business results Effective communication/presentation, analytical, and problem solving skills Demonstrated customer and team building skills Experience in the development of winning government proposals Experience interfacing directly with senior level Customer personnel Desired Skills: Experience managing production and sustainment programs in a Cost Plus and Fixed Fee environment Prior experience leading on a highly visible program with high touch from RTN and Customer leadership In depth understanding of Raytheon IPDS Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical aptitude with excellent business communication skills Required Education (including Major): Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent.
