Functional Area: - Consolidated Master Log Services (CMLS) basically a payment based project under VISA INC. It is a ETL Abinitio based application execute under unix environment. In Visa Inc lots of payment related transactions processed per nano second. CMLS/CDI is an infrastructure that has several major functions; VIP-Extract replacement, read FTL and RSI log and apply transformations to the data, and CMLS applications: GMBS, Chip Data Repository, ATM data Repository, Regional and Central data feeds, and VDA. The CMLS Globals application extracts fields from both the VIP and RSI transaction files created out of CSI and provides data to various applications based on downstream requirements.

To enable this implementation member profile data (Authorization & Posting) needs to be maturated for last 60 days of data prior to live date. The current system already does Authorization maturation for Falcon6 scoring & both Authorization & Posting maturation of VISOR (Falcon 5). A change was made to get member posting transaction data history logging/archiving irrespective of VISOR subscription status, to enable Posting data to be loaded into Falcon 6 CM release.

#Project Name: Production Support Engineer (Falcon)


Functional Area: Falcon Fraud Manager is a third party product provided by Fair Isaac Corporation which Visa uses for fraud management of its debit and credit products.  Falcon Fraud Manager helps prevent or reduce credit and debit losses by instant fraud detection and acting according to a previously defined action.  Falcon uses a neural network based scoring algorithm to score each transaction and using that information to build and maintain a cardholder profile.  Clients can use online or real time scoring to detect and prevent fraud.

Falcon Fraud Manager helps combat identity theft and provides consumer debit card fraud protection. The Falcon application is used to generate risk scores based on transaction history and cardholder information. This service is offered to financial institutions in a full call center, shared, and standalone service.
